Catherine M. Clayton is a Director in the Gibbons Intellectual Property Department, and leads the firm's Trademark Practice. She has a broad range of experience in trademark and copyright law, and her practice encompasses litigation, licensing and prosecution. Ms. Clayton regularly provides clients with strategic advice regarding the availability, validity and enforceability of trademarks. In addition, she has significant experience preventing the unauthorized use of trademarks and copyrights through litigation, arbitration and negotiation. David E. De Lorenzi

David E. De Lorenzi chairs the Gibbons Intellectual Property Department and has more than 20 years of trial court experience before federal courts nationwide and the International Trade Commission in all fields of intellectual property law spanning a variety of technologies. Roughly one third of Mr. De Lorenzi's practice focuses on counseling clients on their strategic intellectual property development, acquisition, divestiture and enforcement needs, and negotiating intellectual property transactions that accomplish those business goals. Mr. De Lorenzi's representative clients are in the life sciences, telecommunications and consumer products industries. Frank A. Bruno

Frank A. Bruno, a Director in the Gibbons Intellectual Property Department, focuses his legal practice in the area of patent law and has considerable experience in electrical and computer technologies with particular emphasis on semiconductors and telecommunications. He has litigated patent cases involving semiconductor designs and methods of manufacture, digital telephony, image compression, and global positioning systems. He has counseled start-up companies and has represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in corporate transactions, such as acquisitions and financings, where intellectual property was a significant asset.
